F.A.Q about booking a trial.
-
Do I need to create an account before I can book a free trial?
Yes, we do need you to create an account. We want to make sure that you have the very best free trial and we will need all the correct information to make that happen.
-
Can I just turn up for a free trial?
No, we are sorry, but we must ask you to book first.
Some of our classes are full with a waiting list and we need to know when you are attending, as well as your contact details in case of an emergency. We take pride in making sure that we have the correct staff to student ratio and making sure students are supported.
-
What should I expect at the free trial?
Hard work, so bring lots of water! Please make sure to arrive on time, where one of our instructors will be pleased to greet you and answer any questions you may have.
-
What should I wear for the trial class?
Please wear appropriate sportswear. No footwear is required on the mats, but you must wear shoes in other areas, such as the restroom.
-
Can I stay and watch my child during the trial class?
Spectators are generally not permitted during classes to maintain a focused learning environment. However, for the first trial lesson, parents may stay if their child is distressed.
We also hold open day lessons so please see our schedule.
-
What should I do if my child has special medical or educational needs?
Please ensure all medical conditions and special educational needs are fully disclosed and updated in our member's area before the trial. This information is crucial for us to provide the best possible experience.
-
What should I do if I can't attend my scheduled trial class?
Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend your scheduled trial class. This allows us to manage class sizes and offer your spot to someone else.
-
Can I reschedule my missed trial class?
Yes, you can reschedule your trial class if you inform us ahead of time. We will work with you to find a suitable alternative date. Repeated no-shows without notice may result in the cancellation of your trial spot.
-
What happens if I don't inform ZKS Martial Arts that I'll miss my trial class?
If you do not inform us at least 24 hours before your scheduled class, it may be difficult to reschedule, and your trial place could be forfeited. We recommend reaching out as soon as possible if you know you will miss a class.
If you miss another trial class without informing us we will automatically take you off the list to trial.
-
How many times can I reschedule my trial class?
We understand that schedules can change, so we allow rescheduling. However, repeated rescheduling without proper notice may lead to the cancellation of your trial place to ensure fairness to other participants.
-
Will my trial place be canceled if I miss the class without notifying anyone?
Yes, if you miss a class without notifying us, especially after the second missed trial class, your trial place may be canceled. It's important to communicate with us so we can accommodate your needs.
-
What if an emergency prevents me from attending the trial class?
We understand that emergencies happen. Please contact us as soon as possible to inform us of the situation, and we will do our best to reschedule your trial class.
-
What happens after the trial class?
If you wish to continue after the 1st trial, you will need to complete the full registration and set up your Direct Debit via our Member's Area. If you do not sign up immediately after the second trial, your trial place will be canceled and will offered to someone else.
